Key features

The filament is made from a specially formulated PLA blend containing color concentrates that create a satin surface and smooth shade transitions during printing. The material retains the mechanical properties of standard PLA, does not suffer from shrinkage after cooling, and does not require an enclosed chamber or heated bed (although printing is more stable with one). The filament diameter is controlled along the entire length of the spool with high precision, ensuring stable extrusion and reliable results. The spool is delivered vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber sachet.

It is perfect for figurines, sculptures, vases, candle holders, decorative boxes, jewelry, gadgets, and interior accessories. Thanks to its easy printability, it is also suitable for beginners and can easily be combined with other materials from the PLA family. The filament is compatible with most FDM/FFF 3D printers, including Prusa, Bambu Lab, Creality, Anycubic, and others.

Tips for use

• Before printing, we recommend drying the filament, especially if it has been open for a longer time - moisture reduces the intensity of the gloss.
• For the most pronounced silky gloss effect, choose a slower print speed (around 40 mm/s).
• Use thicker model walls (3 or more perimeters) to make the color transitions stand out.
• Models with smooth surfaces without supports are ideal - silk surfaces are sensitive to artifacts.
• For even transitions, print multiple pieces at once or use the sequential printing function.
• Use a nozzle with a diameter of 0.4 mm or larger; hardened nozzles are not required but will extend service life.
• After printing, store the spool in a sealed package with silica gel, ideally in a dry box.
