Product variants
Spectrum filament PET-G Glow is a phosphorescent PET-G-based material that emits its own light after being exposed to a light source. It combines the proven mechanical and printing properties of PET-G with a distinctive afterglow effect, making it ideal for both decorative and functional prints with a glowing surface.
Key features
The material contains a concentrated phosphorescent pigment that gives printed models the ability to glow in the dark. The added pigment has a neutral effect on the base properties of PET-G, so prints retain good strength, toughness and thermal resistance. The filament offers high aesthetic surface quality, excellent interlayer adhesion and prints without deformation or warping. The intensity and duration of the afterglow can be influenced by wall thickness and infill density - thicker walls and higher infill result in a more pronounced effect.

Who is Spectrum filament PET-G Glow 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
The filament is intended for creators of decorative and artistic objects who want to take advantage of a glowing material effect. It is well suited for producing souvenirs, figurines, ornaments, promotional items and elements marking emergency exits or escape routes during power outages. Thanks to the properties of PET-G, it is also suitable for functional parts that require visual appeal combined with strength and dimensional stability.
Tips for use
- For maximum afterglow, expose the finished model to a light source (daylight or UV lamp) for a sufficient amount of time.
- The phosphorescent pigment is abrasive - use hardened steel or stainless steel nozzles, not brass ones.
- Increasing wall thickness and infill density will produce a more intense and longer-lasting glow.
- Dry the material before printing to prevent cracks and poor surface quality.
- For better bed adhesion, use a glue stick, adhesive spray or a print surface with higher adhesion.
- Store in a dry place in a sealed package with a moisture absorber.
