PLA Carbon is a modified filament based on PLA mixed with carbon fibers, which contribute to significantly higher stiffness, hardness, and tensile strength, while maintaining low shrinkage and very good adhesion to construction platforms typical for pure PLA. By adding 10% carbon fibers, it allows for obtaining matte surfaces of printed objects, which significantly improves the aesthetic properties of printed objects.
Tip: Due to the substantial content of crushed carbon fire, it is recommended to use nozzles with a diameter exceeding the standard value of 0.4 mm. The presence of carbon fibers can also cause wear on the brass nozzle, so for long-term application of PLA Carbon, it is recommended to use stainless steel nozzles.
