Product variants
Spectrum ASA 275 is a professional technical filament designed for 3D printing parts resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions. Thanks to its modified composition, it behaves as easily as classic PLA while retaining all the advantages of ASA material.
Key features
ASA 275 is a technical material intended for the production of functional parts, prototypes and components operated in outdoor environments. The modified composition offers higher flexibility, better flow properties, reduced shrinkage and excellent interlayer adhesion. Heat resistance HDT reaches 85 °C and Vicat softening temperature 94 °C. The material is resistant to UV radiation and changing climatic conditions and, after printing, acquires a glossy surface. Printing is also possible on desktop printers without an enclosed heated chamber, making it a versatile solution for more demanding technical applications.

Who is Spectrum filament ASA 275 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
This material is a suitable choice for users who need to print parts with long-term resistance to external influences. It is used in the production of functional prototypes, manufacturing tools, custom components and end-use parts. It is often used in the automotive industry, in the production of components for boats, sports equipment and electrical enclosures intended for outdoor installation. Thanks to its easy printability, it is also suitable for users who have so far worked mainly with PLA and want to move on to more technically demanding materials without complex printer tuning.
Usage tips
- Dry the material before printing - ASA is slightly hygroscopic and moist filament causes cracking and degrades surface quality.
- For better first-layer adhesion, use a glue stick, ABS juice or a specialized print surface.
- Ensure a stable ambient temperature - drafts and rapid cooling can cause delamination or warping of larger parts.
- Keep fan cooling to a minimum; for overhangs and bridges it can be temporarily increased.
- When printing larger models, an enclosed chamber is recommended, although the material does not strictly require one.
- For optimal interlayer adhesion, print at the upper limit of the recommended nozzle temperature.
- After printing, store the spool in a sealed package with a moisture absorber.
