PC Blend is a highly tough and heat-resistant filament designed for demanding functional prints. With heat resistance up to 113 °C, it is ideal for mechanically and thermally stressed parts, prototypes, and final components used in machines. The material stands out for its strength, stiffness, and resistance to long-term deformation (creep/cold flow), allowing printed parts to maintain their shape under load over time.

Compared to standard polycarbonates, PC Blend offers very good dimensional stability and low moisture absorption. It is also styrene-free. However, higher printing temperatures are required, and larger models may warp — an enclosed printer is recommended.

Prusament is produced in-house by Prusa Research with a guaranteed diameter tolerance of ±0.03 mm and quality control for every spool. New spools include an NFC tag (OpenPrintTag) for offline material recognition by the printer.
