Product variants
Polymaker Panchroma (formerly PolyTerra) PLA is a matte PLA filament with a premium matte surface finish, reduced environmental footprint and easy printability. The material is based on a biodegradable polylactide base and stands out for its dimensional stability and characteristic matte appearance without gloss.
Key features
Panchroma PLA is developed with an emphasis on sustainability - the spool is made of paper and is fully recyclable, and packaging is reduced to a minimum. The filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of ±0.03 mm and a spool weight of 1 kg. Printing produces an almost fully matte surface that excellently hides layers and is suitable for models, figurines and design objects. The material is stiffer than classic PLA and has good interlayer adhesion. Main advantages include easy printing without the need for a heated chamber, low printing temperature, minimal warping and compatibility with virtually all PLA printers on the market. The filament is also suitable for beginners.

Who is Polymaker Panchroma (PolyTerra) PLA 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
The filament is intended for users looking for high-quality PLA with a matte appearance for aesthetic prints - figurines, collectible models, dioramas, cosplay accessories, decorations, prototypes and design objects. Thanks to its easy printability, it is suitable for beginners as well as advanced users. The material is biodegradable and uses a paper spool, which will be appreciated by sustainability-minded users. Panchroma PLA works on common desktop FDM printers - from Bambu Lab, through Prusa and Creality to Anycubic and others. No enclosed chamber or special nozzle is required.
Usage tips
- Before the first print, perform flow rate and pressure advance calibration.
- To hide layers and maximize the matte effect, use a layer height of 0.16-0.20 mm.
- Store in a dry place - ideally in a hermetic box with silica gel or in a dryer.
- Dry damp filament before printing at 55 °C for 6-8 hours.
- For bed adhesion, a clean PEI sheet or glass with a thin layer of glue is sufficient.
- The filament is compatible with a brass nozzle - no hardened or wear-resistant version is needed.
- For detailed models and figurines, choose a 0.2-0.4 mm nozzle and lower print speeds.
- After finishing the print, dispose of the paper spool in sorted waste.
