Product variants
Polymaker PolyLite PETG 1.75mm 1kg is a reliable PETG filament designed for everyday 3D printing of functional parts, prototypes and mechanical components. It combines easy printability, strength and the chemical resistance typical of PETG materials.
Key features
PolyLite PETG from Polymaker offers a balanced combination of mechanical and printing properties. The material features low warping tendency, good interlayer adhesion and resistance to moisture and chemicals. Thanks to its low shrinkage, it is also suitable for printing larger parts. PETG is stronger and tougher than PLA, while maintaining high dimensional stability. The filament is supplied with a diameter of 1.75 mm and a weight of 1 kg (length approx. 333 m).

Who is Polymaker PolyLite PETG 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
The filament is suitable both for advanced users and for printers transitioning from PLA to a more durable material. It is useful for printing functional prototypes, mechanical parts, holders, electronics enclosures and components exposed to higher humidity or mild chemical action. Thanks to its good thermal resistance (Vicat 84 °C), it handles common indoor applications and mild outdoor conditions. For long-term outdoor use, it is better to choose ASA or ABS.
Usage tips
- Use a clean print bed - PETG has strong adhesion, we recommend a release layer (glue stick or hairspray).
- Keep cooling off or at a very low level - this increases interlayer strength.
- Dry the filament before printing if needed - PETG is slightly hygroscopic.
- Pay attention to retraction calibration, PETG tends to be more prone to stringing.
- Print the first layer more slowly (15-25 mm/s) for reliable adhesion.
- Store in a dry place, ideally in a vacuum bag with silica gel.
- A hardened steel nozzle is not necessary, a standard brass nozzle is fully sufficient.
