Key Features of the Original Prusa CW1S
Resin Preheating
When stored for a longer time, resins can thicken or form clumps. Shaking helps, but is not always enough. CW1S can preheat the resin to the optimal temperature, eliminating any clumps formed during storage.
WASHING
Finished prints need to be washed to remove uncured resin. CW1S uses a stainless steel tank filled with isopropyl alcohol and a magnetic propeller that creates a vortex. This vortex gently but effectively washes uncured resin off the model — it is safer and more precise than ultrasonic cleaning, and ideal even for very small objects.
DRYING
Before curing, the washed model must be completely dried. Proper drying prevents spots or blemishes that could appear during UV curing.

SMART DESIGN
CW1S combines four devices in one — preheating, washing, drying, and curing. Despite this, it remains compact (smaller than the SL1S) and saves valuable workspace.
EASY TO USE
Designed with user comfort in mind — an IR sensor automatically detects the tank and suggests the correct next step. The machine intuitively guides the user and eliminates unnecessary menu browsing.
