The Original Prusa CW1S is a multifunctional washing and curing station that combines four essential post-processing functions for SLA prints into a single compact device - resin preheating, IPA washing, drying, and UV curing. Recommended accessory for the Original Prusa SL1S printer, but it works seamlessly with any other resin 3D printer.

Four devices in one

Unlike most accessories for resin printers, the CW1S combines preheating, washing, drying, and curing into a single device. Despite that, it maintains compact dimensions (smaller than the SL1S printer) and saves you a lot of space on your workbench. In its class, it is one of the smartest post-processing solutions available.

Resin preheating to operating temperature

During longer storage, resins tend to change consistency and form lumps, so simply shaking may not be enough. The CW1S can preheat the resin to its ideal operating temperature before printing and eliminate any lumps that have formed. The result is more reliable prints and better surface detail.

Washing with a magnetic propeller

The finished model must be washed to remove uncured resin. The CW1S uses a stainless steel tank with isopropyl alcohol and a magnetic propeller that creates a swirling vortex. This reliably removes even residual resin from fine details of the model. This principle is significantly gentler than ultrasonic cleaning and easily handles even miniature objects.

Drying before curing

Before the actual UV curing, the model must be completely dry. IPA residues on the surface could cause unsightly stains and defects during curing. That is why the CW1S has a dedicated drying mode that perfectly prepares the model's surface for the final step.

UV curing for final properties

After printing and washing, models are often soft and sticky - UV light curing gives them optimal mechanical properties, a hard surface, and a better feel to the touch. The CW1S is equipped with four UV LED strips with a wavelength of 405 nm and a maximum power output of 52.8 W, which evenly illuminate the model from all sides.

Smart design and easy operation

The CW1S was designed with user comfort in mind. An IR sensor automatically detects the presence of the tank and the station itself offers the appropriate action - so you don't have to tediously navigate through menus. A clear display guides you through every step of post-processing.

The station is made of durable materials that can withstand long-term contact with IPA and chemicals used in resin processing. Although the CW1S is primarily intended for Original Prusa SL1S printers, thanks to its universal stainless steel tank, it can also be used by owners of other resin printers. It is suitable for standard as well as water-washable resins, ABS-like, and flexible resins.
