Fast resin printing with a tilting tank

The motorized tilting tank mechanism is the main difference compared to standard MSLA printers. After each layer is cured, the display and tank tilt to gently separate the model from the FEP film, the resin is mixed, and the next layer is exposed sooner than on a static design. Exposure time per layer ranges from 1.3-2.4 seconds depending on the material, and the tank tilt itself takes only 3 seconds.

Monochrome LCD 2560x1620 px

Completely redesigned optics and a 5.96" monochrome display with a native resolution of 2560x1620 px push print quality a class above the original SL1. The supported layer height of 0.025-0.1 mm, with a minimum down to 0.01 mm, allows you to print sharp details of miniatures, jewelry models and technical prototypes. The mono display lifespan is guaranteed for 2000 print hours.

Resin calibration and an extensive profile database

PrusaSlicer includes an extensive database of fine-tuned profiles for branded resins, and with third-party materials you can easily test up to eight objects with different exposure times in a single print. Pick the best result and the settings are automatically saved to a new profile - no lengthy step-by-step tuning.

Resin level sensor and smart management

Before starting a print, the printer measures the resin level in the tank on its own. It warns you if there is not enough material to finish the job, or conversely alerts you to overfilling, which could cause spillage and damage the electronics. The quick-release platform also eliminates the need for repeated calibration - set it once and you're done.

Certification for industrial and castable resins

The entire SL1S SPEED workflow (printing, washing, curing) is certified for a wide range of professional resins, including materials from Henkel Loctite. Quiet operation and quality cooling

The stepper motors are driven by Trinamic drivers with auto-homing, which ensures noticeably quieter operation than standard SLA machines. The active cooling system with a carbon filter on the rear fan minimizes resin odors around the printer while extending the lifespan of the internal electronics.
