Monochrome 2560×1620p LCD with long lifespan

The heart of the printer is a 5.96" monochrome LCD with a native resolution of 2560×1620 pixels. Compared to color panels, the mono display transmits significantly more UV light, resulting in short exposure times and a panel lifespan of 2000 print hours within the warranty. The redesigned optics and uniform UV LED array ensure consistent exposure across the entire print area.

Tilting vat for faster and gentler printing

After each layer is cured, the motorized tilt mechanism gently tilts the entire display along with the vat. The model separates from the FEP film more gently than with a traditional Z-lift, while the resin is continuously mixed and the full layer cycle takes only 3 seconds. Printing is therefore significantly faster and puts less stress on the model and supports.

Resin level sensor

Before starting a job, the printer automatically measures the resin level in the vat and recommends whether to top up, or alternatively warns of an excess that could overflow during tilting. Smart resin management protects the printer and eliminates the need to monitor the level manually.

Third-party resin calibration

In addition to an extensive database of internally tuned profiles in PrusaSlicer, the SL1S offers a Resin Calibration feature. In a single print, you can test up to eight calibration objects with different exposure times, select the best result, and the values are automatically transferred to a new profile. You'll get reliable settings for virtually any material - including casting and industrial resins.

Certified workflow for industrial resins

The entire workflow - from printing to washing to curing - is certified for a wide range of professional materials, including Henkel Loctite resins. The SL1S SPEED can therefore handle the production of functional technical parts, small-batch production, jewelry casting models, and highly detailed collectible figurines.

Connectivity, PrusaLink, and Prusa Connect

The printer connects via Wi-Fi, LAN, or USB. PrusaLink allows you to control the SL1S SPEED through a web browser on your local network, while cloud-based Prusa Connect works from anywhere in the world. Firmware updates automatically, and you can send diagnostic data to technical support directly from the display.

Quick-release platform and intuitive controls

The quick-release platform mechanism eliminates the need for repeated calibration - calibrate once, then simply remove and return the platform to its place. The setup wizard with photos and illustrations guides you through the first startup, and the interface itself is straightforward even for beginners in resin printing.

Quiet operation and efficient cooling

The stepper motors are driven by Trinamic drivers with an auto-homing function, allowing the printer to operate very quietly. A powerful cooling system extends the lifespan of internal components, and the rear fan with a carbon filter minimizes resin odors around the printer.

The SL1S SPEED forms a complete ecosystem with the Original Prusa CW1S washing and curing station, which handles IPA washing, drying, UV curing, and resin preheating.
