Product variants
Spectrum PET-G MATT 1.75 mm is a modified PETG filament with an adjusted chemical composition that combines the easy printing and reliability of classic PETG with the aesthetics of a matte surface. The resulting prints feature a high-quality matte side surface with hardly visible layers.
Key features
PET-G MATT retains all the advantages of standard PETG materials - easy and highly efficient printing, minimal shrinkage, excellent interlayer adhesion and adhesion to the print bed. Thanks to special additives, it also gains higher thermal resistance, better impact toughness and reduced brittleness of prints. The material is UV stabilized and the Vicat softening temperature reaches 75 °C. The resulting objects are rigid, mechanically resistant and feature a matte surface that significantly suppresses the visibility of layers on the side walls of models.

Who is Spectrum PET-G MATT 1.75 mm filament suitable for
This material is intended for users who, in addition to the mechanical properties of PETG, also require a premium visual result without gloss. It is particularly suitable for industrial design prototyping, concept visualization and demonstration of design variants. It also finds use in creating architectural models, interior design elements, educational projects and aesthetic components where the appearance of the final surface matters.
Usage tips
- Dry the material before printing - PETG is slightly hygroscopic and moisture degrades surface quality.
- For maximum matte effect, choose a higher layer height (0.2-0.3 mm) - the structure scatters light better.
- Print at a lower speed (40-50 mm/s) for better detail and stable extrusion.
- Set retraction to 1-2 mm for a direct extruder and 4-6 mm for a Bowden setup to minimize stringing.
- Clean the print bed with IPA - PETG adheres very well, but avoid printing directly on bare glass without a separator.
- Print the first layer slightly slower with a nozzle temperature 5-10 °C higher for better adhesion.
- Store in a dry place with a moisture absorber, ideally in a sealed box.
