PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) is a versatile technical material that combines easy printing similar to PLA with higher mechanical and thermal resistance. Who is Filament-PM PETG Tasty Pack for
This bundle is designed for beginners and advanced makers alike who want to take advantage of PETG - easy printing, high strength and thermal resistance. It is suitable for printing functional components, mechanical parts, holders, electronics enclosures, kitchen and household items as well as decorative objects. Thanks to the smaller spools (300 g), the pack is ideal for testing colors, multicolor projects, printing smaller parts or as a supplementary package to larger spools. The material is compatible with most FDM/FFF 3D printers with a heated nozzle and bed.
Printing tips
- Before printing, we recommend drying the filament at 65 °C for 4 - 6 hours, as PETG is hygroscopic.
- Reduce cooling to 30 - 50 % to ensure better interlayer adhesion.
- To reduce stringing, increase retraction and set the nozzle temperature closer to the lower end of the recommended range.
- Apply glue or a separator to the print bed - PETG has high adhesion and may damage the bed.
- Use a hardened nozzle when printing variants with additives (e.g. carbon or glass fibers).
- Store the spools in a dry environment, ideally in a sealable box with silica gel.
- The optimal print speed is 40 - 60 mm/s; higher speeds may degrade surface quality.
