The Elegoo Jupiter SE is a resin SLA 3D printer with a large-format build volume of 277.8 × 156.3 × 300 mm, a 12.8" 6K mono LCD, and a pixel size of just 51 μm. It combines automatic resin refilling, active cooling via copper heat pipes, and USB air filtration - so it handles long and batch prints without operator intervention.
Large build volume for real-world models

The 277.8 × 156.3 × 300 mm build volume puts this machine firmly in the large-format resin category. In a single run you can print larger-scale figurines, engineering prototypes, molds, or parts that would need to be split on a standard Mars/Saturn. All while retaining SLA accuracy - no FDM layering, just sharp edges and smooth surfaces.
6K mono LCD with 51 μm pixel
At the heart of the printer is a 12.8" monochrome LCD with a resolution of 5448 × 3064 px. The pixel size of just 51 × 51 μm ensures crisp rendering of fine details - skin textures, gears, tiny lettering. The display is paired with a COB+ refractive lighting system that spreads UV light evenly across the entire surface and eliminates bright or dark zones.
Automatic resin refilling
An integrated pump draws resin from an external tank and maintains a constant level in the vat. With tall models you no longer need to worry about the print stopping due to lack of material, and any excess is automatically returned back. It saves time, reduces waste, and is essential for uninterrupted overnight runs.
Active cooling with copper heat pipes
Long prints generate heat that shortens the lifespan of both the LCD and the light source. That's why the Jupiter SE uses copper heat pipes and fans that actively dissipate heat from the LED matrix and display. The result is stable temperature, consistent exposure throughout the print, and a longer lifespan for the key components.
4-point manual calibration
Leveling the build platform against the LCD is done at four points, which is more accurate on large-format machines than single-point solutions. Calibration takes only a few minutes and gives you an even first layer across the entire 277 × 156 mm area - critical for reliable adhesion of large models.
USB air filter
Resin fumes aren't pleasant and have no place in a workshop. The Jupiter SE has an integrated activated-carbon air filter powered via USB that captures volatile compounds directly inside the chamber. Combined with the printer's enclosed cover, this significantly reduces odor in the room.
Slicer compatibility
You can prepare your data in ChituBox, Lychee Slicer, or Voxeldance Tango - profiles for the Jupiter SE are available in all of them. Print jobs are transferred offline via a USB flash drive, and control is handled by a color touchscreen with a clear menu.
Ideal materials for SLA printing
The printer works with common 405 nm UV resins - standard, water-washable, ABS-like, and tougher engineering resins. For post-processing, an ultrasonic cleaner and a UV cure chamber such as the Elegoo Mercury Plus are ideal. If you're looking for an alternative to resin for large mechanical parts, check out FDM materials such as PLA, PETG, or ABS.
