Product variants
The Creality CR-Scan Ferret is a compact handheld 3D scanner designed for fast and accurate digitisation of real-world objects. Thanks to dual visible-light technology, accuracy of up to 0.1 mm and a capture speed of 30 fps, it handles small parts, medium-sized objects as well as human body scanning. The scanner is wireless, connectable to a PC or a mobile device via Wi-Fi, and requires no reference markers.
Dual visible-light system

The CR-Scan Ferret uses two cameras and a visible-light projector, which allows it to operate in daylight or in a brightly lit room. There is no need for a dark workshop or blackout curtains - the scanner adapts to the environment and reliably tracks the surface geometry.
Accuracy up to 0.1 mm

The scanner achieves a minimum accuracy of 0.1 mm and a resolution of 0.16 mm, which makes it a suitable candidate for reverse engineering, part inspection or creating models prior to 3D printing itself. The scanned data can then be easily exported to STL, OBJ or PLY formats and sent straight into your slicer.
Fast scanning at 30 fps

A capture rate of 30 frames per second and a wide field of view of 560 × 820 mm at a distance of 500 mm allow smooth movement of the scanner around the object without losing tracking. A human head scan can therefore be completed in under a minute.
Wireless connection to phone and PC

The Ferret supports connection to a Windows PC via USB as well as to a mobile phone (Android / iOS) via Wi-Fi. This lets you scan directly in the field without a laptop, which is particularly handy for larger objects or when scanning people.
Marker-free scanning

Unlike laser scanners, you do not need to stick reflective markers onto the scanned object. The Ferret works with visual surface cues and computes the geometry on its own, which saves time and keeps the surface of the original intact.
Compact and lightweight design

The scanner weighs just 105 g, and its dimensions of 122 × 39 × 26 mm make it a truly mobile device. The ergonomic body fits nicely in your hand, so you can handle even longer scanning sessions without fatigue.
Creality Scan software

The package includes the free Creality Scan software, which handles real-time preview, point-cloud stitching, data cleanup and export to standard formats. It supports Windows, Android and iOS and is actively developed.
Versatile use

The Ferret handles objects from around 15 × 15 × 15 cm up to large models such as statues or a human figure. The scanned data can then be printed directly on materials such as PLA, PETG or ABS, or edited in CAD.
