Copymaster3D Flex UV Resin in Skin shade is a flexible photopolymer resin designed for LCD, DLP and MSLA 3D printers with a 405 nm wavelength. The 1 kg package in skin colour is ideal for printing prosthetic models, flexible prototypes, damping elements or parts imitating human skin. After curing, the resin retains rubber-like elasticity, good elongation and tear resistance.

Flexibility and tear resistance

The material is formulated as truly flexible - after curing it behaves like a soft elastomer that can be bent, compressed and stretched without permanent deformation. It withstands repeated mechanical stress well, making it suitable for gaskets, sleeves, ergonomic grips or models simulating the behaviour of soft tissues.

Skin colour for realistic models

The Skin shade mimics a lighter body tone and is particularly suitable for anatomical models, prosthetics, figurines or visualisations in medical education. The pigmentation is uniform throughout the volume, so prints have no colour transitions and can be easily further painted or patinated.

Compatibility with 405 nm LCD/MSLA printers

The resin is optimised for the standard 405 nm wavelength used by the vast majority of consumer resin printers - Anycubic, Elegoo, Creality, Phrozen and others. Precise exposure times can be set using a calibration test; as a guideline they range between 2.5 - 4 s depending on the LED matrix power.

Low shrinkage and dimensional stability

Thanks to its balanced chemical formulation, the resin exhibits low shrinkage during both solidification and subsequent UV curing. Dimensional stability holds even for thin-walled models, which retain detail without visible deformation or edge pulling.

Detailed printing with resin precision

Although it is a flexible material, the resin maintains the typical sharpness of detail of MSLA technology. It handles thin walls, fine surface textures and small modelling features - suitable for figurines, anatomical segments or functional prototypes with textured surfaces.

Easy post-processing

After printing, prints are typically washed in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or in products such as Resin Cleaner and then post-cured in a UV chamber. We recommend a shorter post-cure so that the material retains its flexibility - excessive UV exposure can lead to surface hardening.

Alternative to flexible filaments

If you need flexible parts but have been used to FDM so far, this resin is a logical extension. For comparison with filament materials, see our category of flexible filaments - however, resin allows significantly higher detail and a smoother surface without visible layers.

Safe storage and handling

The unopened bottle should be stored in the dark at 15 - 30 °C, away from direct sunlight. When working, always use nitrile gloves, safety glasses and work in a well-ventilated room. Residues of uncured resin must be cured under UV light before disposal and handled as sorted plastic waste.
