Product variants
Bambu Lab Filament ABS is a durable technical material with high strength, good heat resistance and excellent impact toughness. It is designed for printing functional parts, prototypes and machine components that must withstand mechanical stress and elevated temperatures.
Key features
ABS by Bambu Lab offers better mechanical properties than standard PLA or PETG. It excels in high impact strength, resistance to drops and impacts, and decent toughness even at low temperatures. Heat resistance (HDT 87 °C) makes it suitable for parts exposed to heat, automotive components or electronics enclosures. The filament is also resistant to water and humid environments, maintaining a long service life. The spool is equipped with an RFID chip for automatic loading of print parameters in the AMS system.

Who is Bambu Lab Filament ABS, with spool, 1kg suitable for
This filament is intended for users who need to print mechanically durable and thermally stable parts. It is suitable for the production of functional components, prototypes, holders, electronics enclosures, automotive parts, tools and components exposed to regular loads. Thanks to compatibility with AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT and AMS (except AMS lite), it is a great choice for Bambu Lab printer users who want to take advantage of automatic parameter loading from the RFID chip. A printer with an enclosed chamber is required for printing.
Usage tips
- Always place the printer in a well-ventilated area - odorous fumes may be released during printing.
- Thoroughly dry the material before printing (80 °C / 8 hours) and store it in a dry environment after use.
- For large models and higher infill, use an enclosed printer to reduce the risk of warping.
- Set a lower print speed and higher bed temperature for better first layer adhesion.
- For better bed adhesion, we recommend using glue (e.g. Bambu Liquid Glue).
- Avoid the Cool Plate SuperTack build plate - it is not suitable for ABS.
- For easy replacement, use the original Bambu Reusable Spool with integrated RFID chip.
