Bambu Lab Filament ABS, ReFill, 1kg is a technical 3D printing filament designed for producing strong, durable and thermally stable parts. The ReFill version does not include a spool - it is intended to be wound onto the reusable Bambu Lab Reusable Spool, saving material and storage costs.
Key features
ABS is one of the most widely used technical materials for 3D printing. It features high mechanical strength, toughness and excellent impact resistance even at low temperatures. Bambu Lab ABS reaches a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 87 °C, making it suitable for functional parts exposed to elevated temperatures. The material is also resistant to water and moisture, allowing it to maintain long-term stability even in outdoor or humid environments.
The filament comes with an integrated RFID chip that enables automatic material recognition in Bambu Lab printers with the AMS system. The ReFill version is compatible with AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT and AMS - it is not compatible with AMS lite. A closed printer (enclosure) is required for printing.

Who is Bambu Lab Filament ABS, ReFill, 1kg suitable for
This filament is suitable for advanced users and professionals who require durable and thermally stable parts. It is ideal for producing functional prototypes, machine parts, brackets, electronics enclosures, automotive components and anywhere standard PLA or PETG falls short in thermal resistance. For outdoor use with higher UV resistance we recommend considering ASA. The ReFill format is intended for users who already own the Bambu Lab Reusable Spool - it saves plastic and storage space.
Tips for use
- Print in a well-ventilated room - ABS releases fumes with an unpleasant odor during printing.
- Use an enclosed printer to minimize warping and layer delamination.
- Before printing large or solid models, choose a lower speed and higher bed temperature.
- For better first layer adhesion, use Bambu Liquid Glue or a glue stick.
- If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry it at 80 °C for 8 hours.
- The ReFill must be wound onto the reusable Bambu Lab Reusable Spool.
- Store in a dry environment in a sealed package with desiccant.
- If the ReFill version is unavailable, we reserve the right to replace it with the spooled version at the same price.
