xTool D1 Pro 10W - Engraver

The xTool D1 Pro 10W is a highly accurate and fast cutting and engraving diode laser machine. This DIY kit featuring a robust aluminum open-frame construction and stainless steel rollers and linear rails is easily assembled thanks to the detailed instructions. The D1 Pro 10W features a dual laser technology that combines two laser beams into one spot. The compressed spot of 0.08 x 0.06 mm has higher power and faster speed. The power of the xTool D1 Pro 10 W dual laser is equivalent to a 15 W single laser of a conventional cutting machine. A 10-mm wood or a 5-mm acrylic plate can be cut through in one pass.

The machine features a lightning-fast maximum speed of 400 mm/s yet providing high accuracy of up to 0.004 in. Four limit switches on both axes prevent the laser head from hitting the frame and allow setting the machine’s home position and working with absolute coordinates. To ensure safe operation, the D1 Pro is equipped with a flame detector and a shake sensor. For better protection, you can buy an optional protective enclosure.

Compatible materials

The xTool D1 Pro can work with a wide range of materials. Working area

The working area of 430 x 400 mm allows you to implement large-scale design projects or to engrave multiple smaller patterns at a time which can be extremely helpful for small businesses.

The maximum workpiece height of 50 mm can be increased with the use of optional risers. Each riser set adds 45 mm to the maximum height.

Machine controls

On the right side of the machine frame there is a power and a USB port and a power switch. On top of the front panel you will find a start / stop button and a light status indicator.

The laser module is equipped with an easy and convenient focus adjustment mechanism using a special lever.

The machine can be connected to the PC using Wi-Fi or USB. It is also equipped with a TF card slot.

Software

The xTool D1 Pro comes with the proprietary xTool Creative Space software. This free software is user-friendly, functional, and allows for firmware updates. xTool Creative Space is compatible with Windows and macOS.

Those looking for enhanced functionality can use the third-party LightBurn engraving software which is more powerful and supports more file formats, such as AI, SVG, DXF, PDF, HPGL, and PLT for vector files and PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA, and GIF for raster images. LightBurn is a paid software but it offers a free trial period. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
