Product variants
Spectrum S-Flex 90A is a flexible and highly durable filament that is easy to print. The material combines elasticity with high resistance to wear, chemicals and UV radiation, making it a reliable choice for functional parts requiring flexibility.
Key features
S-Flex 90A reaches a hardness of 90 Shore A and offers an ideal compromise between rigidity and flexibility. The suitable material composition ensures excellent adhesion between individual layers as well as between the printed object and the print bed. Thanks to its resistance to hydrocarbons and good interlayer adhesion, it enables the production of tight objects that must withstand operating fluids while maintaining maximum tightness. The material also shows resistance to weak and diluted acids and a low degree of shrinkage after printing. The surface of the prints is smooth and minimal stringing occurs during printing.

Who is Spectrum filament S-Flex 90A 1.75mm 250g suitable for
The material is intended for users who need to combine flexibility with resistance to wear and chemicals. The prints can be used as energy absorbers, various types of bumpers, vibration dampers, seals, protective covers, ergonomic handles or functional prototypes requiring flexibility. Thanks to its good resistance to UV radiation and material aging, it is also suitable for parts exposed to outdoor conditions. If you are looking for stiffer variants of flexible materials, take a look at our offer of flexible filaments or harder alternatives such as PETG.
Tips for use
- Before printing, dry the material at 60 °C for 4-6 hours - flexible materials are prone to moisture absorption.
- Use a direct drive extruder, which handles flexible filaments better than a bowden system.
- Keep the print speed in the range of 20-40 mm/s to prevent the filament from bending in the extruder.
- Set retraction to a minimum, ideally 1-2 mm - this reduces the risk of nozzle clogging and stringing.
- For good bed adhesion, a clean PEI sheet or glass with glue is sufficient.
- Set model cooling to 50-100 % depending on the geometry of the print.
- Store the material in a dry environment, ideally in a vacuum bag with a moisture absorber.
