Product variants
Spectrum S-Flex 90A is a flexible 3D printing filament based on thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with a Shore 90A hardness. It combines elasticity with high resistance to wear, chemicals and UV radiation. Filament diameter 1.75 mm, spool weight 0.5 kg.
Key features
S-Flex 90A belongs to the group of flexible filaments based on thermoplastic polyurethane. The material features very good adhesion between layers as well as to the print bed, which makes printing easier compared to softer TPU variants. It offers elongation at break of up to 500%, excellent resistance to wear, common industrial oils, hydrocarbons, weak acids and bases. The filament has low shrinkage, high-quality print surface and stable shape and mechanical properties within the range of -30 to +60 °C. Thanks to good resistance to UV radiation and aging, it is also suitable for parts used outdoors.

Who is Spectrum filament S-Flex 90A 1.75mm 0.5kg suitable for
The material is intended for users who need functional flexible parts with high chemical resistance. It is typically used for the production of gaskets, vibration dampers, bumpers and energy absorbers, protective cases and covers, snap-fit parts, sleeves and grips, hinges or flexible joints. Thanks to its higher hardness (90A), S-Flex is easier to print than softer TPU and offers better dimensional accuracy while maintaining sufficient flexibility. Details about other soft materials can be found in the TPU filaments category.
Usage tips
- Use a direct drive extruder - with a bowden system there is a risk of filament bending and inconsistent feeding.
- Reduce print speed and retraction, the filament is sensitive to fast extruder movements.
- Dry the material before printing, TPU is hygroscopic and moisture causes bubbles and a poorer surface.
- For better bed adhesion, use a PEI sheet, adhesive spray or a thin layer of glue.
- Increase the Linear Advance / Pressure Advance value for cleaner corners and reduced stringing.
- Store in a dry environment (vacuum bag with desiccant), ideally at humidity below 20%.
- Ensure a properly set flow rate - over-extrusion on flex materials significantly worsens detail.
