Product variants
Spectrum rPET-G 1.75 mm 1 kg is an eco-friendly 3D printing filament made from recycled PETG. It offers the same printing ease and mechanical properties as classic PETG, but with a significantly lower environmental impact. The material is produced by collecting, grinding and homogenising residual extrusion waste, thereby reducing the consumption of primary raw materials.
Key features
Recycled PETG filament combines sustainability with the technical parameters of standard PETG. It features very low shrinkage after cooling, good interlayer adhesion and relatively high tensile strength. Heat resistance (HDT) reaches around 70 °C, making it ideal for functional parts intended for normal room and slightly elevated temperatures. The filament is wound on an eco-friendly cardboard spool, and each package is vacuum-sealed with a moisture absorber to preserve material quality.

Who is Spectrum rPET-G 1.75 mm 1 kg filament suitable for
Recycled PETG is intended for anyone who wants to combine reliable printing with environmental responsibility. It is ideal for educational projects, prototyping, visualisation of semi-finished and finished products, industrial design, interior furnishings and concept models. The material is also suitable for functional parts, mechanical components, holders, organisers and technical parts where higher toughness than PLA is required, while still being easier to print than ABS.
Tips for use
- Before printing, we recommend drying the filament at 65 °C for 4-6 hours, especially after longer storage.
- Use mild part cooling (30-50 %) to maintain good layer adhesion.
- For the first layer, choose a slower speed and a slightly higher nozzle temperature.
- Clean the bed of grease (IPA); for easier part removal, apply a thin layer of release agent.
- Set retraction between 4-6 mm (Bowden) or 1-2 mm (Direct Drive).
- The material is hygroscopic - after printing, store it in a sealed package with silica gel.
- Due to its recycled origin, deliveries may vary slightly - we recommend performing a Flow calibration for each new spool.
