Key features
This filament combines the easy printability of classic PLA with the aesthetics of natural stone. Thanks to the mineral additives, prints acquire a matte, rough surface that perfectly masks individual print layers. The material does not shrink, exhibits high dimensional stability and is not abrasive, so it does not wear out standard brass nozzles. The 1.75 mm filament diameter with precise tolerance ensures stable feeding and even extrusion. The spool weighs 0.5 kg.

The filament is primarily intended for decorative and architectural projects where the appearance of natural stone is required. It is ideal for creating mock-ups, architectural models, conceptual prototypes, visualisations of historical buildings, terrain pieces for tabletop games, dioramas, interior accessories, vases, flowerpots and sculptures. Thanks to its easy printability, even a less experienced user can handle this material on a common FDM printer.
Tips for use
- Use a nozzle with a diameter of 0.4 mm or larger - smaller nozzles may clog with mineral particles.
- For a more pronounced stone effect, choose a thicker layer height (0.2-0.3 mm).
- The material tolerates slight under-extrusion well, which highlights the rough surface texture.
- For longer storage, keep the filament dry, ideally in a sealed box with desiccant.
- After longer storage, we recommend drying the filament at 45 °C for 4-6 hours before printing.
- Does not require an enclosed chamber or a special hardened nozzle.
- After printing, the model can be further modified by sanding or patinating for an even more realistic stone appearance.
