Product variants
Spectrum PLA GreenyHT is an advanced biopolymer filament that combines the easy printing of classic PLA with significantly increased thermal resistance and mechanical strength. The material retains full biodegradability and meets the requirements for food contact.
Key features
Conventional PLA filaments suffer from low heat resistance (typically 50-60 °C), which limits their practical use in functional parts. Spectrum PLA GreenyHT solves this shortcoming - it reaches a Vicat softening point of up to 100 °C and HDT B heat resistance of up to 90 °C. The filament contains no plasticizers, which allows it to maintain high stiffness and hardness that surpass standard PLA grades.
The print surface is matte, with a characteristic roughness that effectively masks individual layers and enhances the aesthetic value of models. The base material is biodegradable and industrially compostable according to the EN 13432 standard, and the bio-based content comes from GMO-free sources.

Who is Spectrum Filament PLA GreenyHT 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
This filament is intended for users who need the ease of printing of classic PLA but also require higher thermal resistance and mechanical strength of finished parts. It is particularly useful for functional prototypes for demonstration purposes, in industrial design and prototyping, and for creating 3D graphics, models, and artistic objects. Thanks to its food contact approval (see the manufacturer's technical data sheet), it is also suitable for parts that come into contact with food. It can be printed on common desktop printers without the need for an enclosed heated chamber.
Tips for use
- Dry the filament before printing at 45 °C for 4-6 hours - the material is hygroscopic.
- To achieve maximum heat resistance, anneal the finished prints - the process increases crystallinity and thus HDT.
- Use part cooling at 50-100 % for clean details and reliable bridging.
- Bed adhesion works reliably on PEI sheets, glue-coated glass, and magnetic foils.
- After printing, return the filament to the original bag with the moisture absorber and store it in a dry environment.
- For a maximally matte surface, choose lower speeds and a higher layer height (0.2-0.3 mm).
- The material is compatible with standard brass nozzles and is not abrasive.
