Who is Spectrum PET-G HT100 1.75mm 1kg filament for
The material is intended for advanced users and professionals who need to produce fully functional parts resistant to elevated temperatures and mechanical loads. It finds application in visual and functional prototyping, tooling, end-use parts, manufacturing aids and product testing. Thanks to the combination of heat resistance, rigidity and chemical resistance, it is a suitable alternative where standard PETG reaches its limits, but ABS or ASA are not optimal in terms of printability.
Tips for use
- For maximum heat resistance, print in an enclosed heated chamber.
- The filament is hygroscopic - we recommend drying at 65 °C for 4-6 hours before printing.
- Use a hardened steel or brass nozzle with sufficient thermal reserve.
- Reduce print speed and cooling on the first layers for maximum bed adhesion.
- Apply a glue stick or a special PETG adhesive to glass surfaces.
- For retraction, choose shorter distances (3-5 mm) and lower speed to prevent stringing.
- Store in a dry place, ideally in a vacuum bag with silica gel.
