Product variants
Spectrum PET-G FX120 is an advanced rigid elastomer based on PET-G, designed for engineering applications requiring a combination of flexibility, mechanical durability and high thermal stability. With a hardness of 95A Shore and a maximum operating temperature of up to 120 °C, this material is an excellent choice for functional parts that must withstand both mechanical and thermal stress.
Key features
Spectrum PET-G FX120 combines the advantages of classic PET-G with the properties of flexible materials. Thanks to its rigidity, it allows trouble-free printing even on printers with Bowden filament feed and is suitable for use in multi-material printers, where it can be combined with regular PET-G. The material exhibits excellent dimensional stability, high chemical resistance, low odor during printing, contains no styrene, and can be steam sterilized. The additives used significantly increase the maximum operating temperature up to 120 °C.

Who is the Spectrum PET-G FX120 1.75mm 0.5 kg filament suitable for
The material is intended primarily for advanced users and professionals in the fields of engineering, prototyping and the production of functional parts. It is suitable for the manufacture of energy absorbers, seals with high chemical resistance, tools, elastic damping elements, protective covers for sharp edges and end-use parts. It also finds application in product testing and anywhere a combination of flexibility, toughness and thermal resistance is required.
Usage tips
- Thoroughly dry the material before printing - PET-G FX120 is sensitive to moisture.
- We recommend printing in a heated chamber for better interlayer adhesion.
- Use a high level of cooling - this will reduce stringing and improve surface quality.
- Ideal printing is on a PEI bed or glass with a suitable adhesive applied.
- The material can be printed at higher speeds than common elastomers due to its rigidity.
- It combines excellently with classic PET-G in multi-material printers.
- Finished parts allow steam sterilization after printing without loss of mechanical properties.
