Product variants
Spectrum Filament PC 275 is a professional higher-grade polycarbonate filament designed for demanding technical and functional applications. It combines high strength, thermal resistance, and easier processability than standard PC materials.
Key features
Spectrum PC 275 uses a modified polycarbonate formulation optimized to suppress typical shrinkage and improve interlayer adhesion. The material offers excellent dimensional stability during printing, resulting in high accuracy of finished parts. Enhanced flow parameters allow printing at higher speeds without loss of surface quality.
The material features high impact toughness, resistance to dynamic loads, and HDT B thermal resistance of 139 °C. The Vicat softening temperature reaches 150 °C. As a result, it surpasses the mechanical and thermal resistance of common materials such as PLA, PETG, or ABS.

Who is Spectrum Filament PC 275 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
The filament is intended for advanced users, engineers, designers, and industrial operations where a combination of high mechanical strength and thermal resistance is required. Typical areas of use:
- functional prototypes with high mechanical load
- industrial modeling and tool production
- end-use parts exposed to higher operating temperatures
- electronics enclosures and components
- automotive parts and components
- sports equipment and technical accessories
Tips for use
- Always thoroughly dry the material before printing - PC is highly hygroscopic and moisture significantly degrades print quality.
- Print in an enclosed chamber to minimize heat loss and prevent layer delamination.
- For better bed adhesion, use a glue stick, PC-specific glue, or a special adhesion agent.
- Choose a nozzle resistant to wear and higher temperatures - a quality brass nozzle is usually sufficient; for long-term printing, consider a steel one.
- Keep cooling turned off or at minimum if possible to maintain interlayer strength.
- Optimize the first layer - a slower speed and slightly higher nozzle temperature improve adhesion.
- For larger parts, it is advisable to use a brim or raft to eliminate possible corner warping.
