Product variants
Spectrum Carbon PET-G filament is a PET-G-based composite material enriched with 10% chopped carbon fibers. It combines the easy printability of classic PETG with the higher stiffness, hardness and dimensional stability typical of carbon fiber composite filaments.
Key features
The addition of carbon fibers significantly improves the mechanical properties of the material - it increases stiffness, hardness and tensile strength while maintaining minimal shrinkage and very good adhesion to the print bed. The resulting prints have a pleasant matte surface and high aesthetic quality. The material reaches a VICAT softening temperature of 80 °C and shows higher resistance to abrasion and compressive loading than pure PET-G. The filament is wound on a transparent spool, vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber, and each spool undergoes continuous diameter control with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm on two axes.

Who is Spectrum Carbon PET-G filament suitable for
The material is intended for users who need stiff and hard parts with maintained dimensional accuracy. It is used in the production of spacers exposed to static compressive loading, structural parts, functional prototypes, concept models and semi-finished products. Thanks to its matte surface, it is also suitable for visible and decorative parts, external structural elements and aesthetic components that highlight the final product.
Tips for use
- Use nozzles with a diameter greater than 0.4 mm - a minimum of 0.5 mm is recommended due to the carbon fiber content.
- Brass nozzles wear out quickly - choose hardened steel or stainless steel nozzles for long-term printing.
- Dry the filament before printing, as materials with carbon fibers are sensitive to moisture absorption.
- Reduce the print speed compared to pure PET-G to achieve clean details and better interlayer adhesion.
- Print the first layer more slowly for perfect adhesion to the bed.
- Store unused spools in a vacuum bag with a moisture absorber.
- For smooth feeding, make sure your extruder can handle materials with stiffer fibers.
