Spectrum ABS GP450 is a construction filament for 3D printing. It is a material with an amorphous structure, which owes its popularity to its high impact resistance, hardness, and relatively high scratch resistance. The composition of the material - compared to classic ABS - has been optimized for additive manufacturing purposes, allowing the user to print at high speed (up to 200 mm/s) without losing mechanical properties. Another very important aspect is the ease of removing support structures. In addition, the adhesion of the first layer to the 3D printer's work platform has improved. This has reduced the cracking of prints and their warping at the base.

Spectrum ABS GP450 is very useful primarily in the production of parts where good durability, high print surface quality, and the possibility of machining semi-finished products are required. Good mechanical properties, especially the high ductility of the material and its high impact resistance, allow the production of parts that transmit both static and dynamic loads in various constructions. The very good insulating properties of the Spectrum ABS GP450 filament allow the printing of parts that protect against electric current, and the relatively high hardness allows the printing of tools and equipment used in assembly or serial production.
