Key features
PLA Spectrum Crystal filament features a distinctive translucent, crystal-glossy surface that gives prints an aesthetic appearance. The material is made from high-quality raw material with a precise diameter tolerance (±0.02 mm), ensuring stable extrusion and clean prints without defects. PLA is one of the most easily printable materials - it has low temperature requirements, minimal shrinkage and excellent layer adhesion. The filaments in the set are wound on eco-friendly cardboard spools that can be easily recycled after use. The package contains 5 spools of 0.25 kg each (1.25 kg of material in total) with a diameter of 1.75 mm.

The set is designed for anyone working on multi-colour projects, testing new models or just learning 3D printing. Thanks to the smaller amount wound per spool, it is ideal for quick colour switching, creating small decorative items, figurines, gift items, prototypes, educational models and maker projects. PLA Crystal is also great for prints where translucency or a shimmering surface effect should stand out - for example lamps, candle holders, decorations or artistic models.
Printing tips
- Thoroughly clean the print bed before printing - PLA adheres best to clean glass, PEI or adhesive tape.
- Store the filament in a dry environment, ideally in a box with silica gel - even PLA absorbs moisture.
- If the filament is damp, dry it in a dryer at 45 °C for 4 - 6 hours before printing.
- For a translucent effect, choose thinner walls (2 - 3 perimeters) and lower infill (5 - 15 %).
- Turn on 100% cooling for clean details and sharp overhangs.
- PLA is not suitable for long-term use in hot environments (above 55 °C) - for such applications choose PETG, ABS or ASA.
- When switching between spools, perform a short purge sequence for a clean colour transition.
