Rosa3D PLA Starter is a reliable Polish PLA filament supplied in ReFill format (without plastic spool) with a weight of 1 kg and a diameter of 1.75 mm. The material is designed for easy and predictable printing on any FDM printer and is suitable for everyday printing.
Key features
PLA (polylactic acid) is the most widespread material for 3D printing. It excels with minimal shrinkage, low printing temperature and forgives minor errors in printer settings. It does not require an enclosed chamber or a heated bed with high temperature.
The filament is manufactured with a precise diameter tolerance, which ensures stable material flow through the nozzle and consistent print quality. The ReFill variant brings plastic savings - for printing you need a reusable Masterspool, which you can print yourself (STL is available for free download) or purchase separately.

Tips for use
- Before the first print, prepare a Masterspool - the STL file is available for free or can be purchased
- Start at a nozzle temperature of 210 °C and adjust according to print speed and specific printer
- Clean the bed with isopropyl alcohol for maximum first layer adhesion
- Use active part cooling - it improves detail and bridging
- Store the filament in a dry place; in case of increased humidity, dry it for 4 hours at 50 °C
- For a quality surface, choose a layer height of 0.15-0.2 mm
- If you need a more durable material, consider PETG or ASA
