The Revopoint MIRACO Standard is a fully standalone handheld 3D scanner with an integrated touchscreen that requires no computer or mobile phone. It combines infrared structured light with a dual-precision mode (0.05 mm near-field scanning / 0.3 mm far-field scanning) and handles objects from tiny jewelry to full human figures. Thanks to battery operation and a wireless workflow, it is ideal for reverse engineering, digitizing references for 3D printing, and mobile fieldwork.

All-in-one scanner with no PC dependency

MIRACO has everything needed built right into the scanner body - a powerful processor, a 6" touchscreen, a battery, and the Revo Scan software. There is no need to deal with laptop cables or phone pairing. Scanning, previewing, editing, and exporting the model in STL/OBJ/PLY formats can all be done directly in your hand, and data is then easily transferred over Wi-Fi or USB-C.

Dual precision mode for small and large objects

The scanner features two distinct optical systems. The Near-field mode offers single-frame accuracy of up to 0.05 mm and 0.05 mm resolution, making it ideal for jewelry, coins, small mechanical parts, or dental models. The Far-field mode, with 0.1 mm accuracy and 0.3 mm resolution, handles large objects up to roughly 2 meters - statues, engines, full human figures, or automotive parts.

Accurate full-color scanning

A built-in color camera captures texture synchronously with the geometry, so the resulting 3D model carries realistic colors and material highlights. This is appreciated by anyone creating content for AR/VR, game assets, digital archiving of artistic references, or detailed 3D portraits. The full-color OBJ or PLY output can be imported directly into Blender, ZBrush, or print slicers.

Infrared structured light

Instead of conventional white light, MIRACO uses invisible IR projection that is gentle on the eyes and on human subjects during face scanning. The system works reliably even in normal indoor lighting and partially tolerates outdoor conditions. It is also suitable for dark or slightly glossy surfaces - requiring significantly fewer coats of matting spray than photogrammetric solutions.

Fast capture at up to 18 FPS

A capture rate of 10-18 FPS enables smooth movement around the object without tracking dropouts. A combination of visual tracking, IMU sensors, and marker tracking keeps the scanner in the correct position even with larger objects. For challenging shapes (round bodies, symmetrical parts) you can use the adhesive markers included in the package.

Battery operation and portability

The integrated battery lasts approximately 2.5 hours of active scanning and charges via USB-C PD. Compact dimensions and a weight of around 720 g allow for comfortable one-handed operation. You can take the scanner to a customer's workshop, to a museum, or to a construction site - no laptop, no tangled cables, just switch on and scan.

Ideal partner for 3D printing

The exported mesh is watertight and ready for slicing directly in PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, or Cura. Reverse engineering of spare parts, copying of broken components, custom brackets, or a digital sculpture for printing in PLA, PETG, or technical ASA - all of this is a matter of minutes. For more durable applications, try printing in nylon or carbon filaments.

Revo Scan software directly on the device

Revo Scan runs natively on the scanner as well as in the desktop version (Windows/macOS). It handles point fusion, mesh generation, decimation, hole closing, and basic texture edits. For advanced modifications, simply export the model to external software. Revopoint regularly updates both the firmware and the app with new features.
