The Revopoint MetroY Pro is a professional 3D scanner combining blue laser and structured light technology for precise digitization of objects ranging from small parts to large car bodies. Thanks to its dual scanning mode, high resolution and accuracy of up to 0.02 mm, it handles reverse engineering, quality control and scanning of challenging surfaces including dark and slightly glossy materials.

Dual technology - blue laser and structured light

The MetroY Pro offers two scanning modes in a single device. The blue laser with 22 cross lines can handle even dark and reflective parts without matting spray, while the structured light mode is ideal for fast scanning of detailed objects with rich texture. Switching between modes is done via software, without the need to swap hardware.

Accuracy up to 0.02 mm for professional use

The scanner achieves a single-frame accuracy of 0.02 mm and a resolution of 0.025 mm, placing it among tools suitable for reverse engineering, measurement and quality control. Volumetric accuracy of 0.02 + 0.04 mm/m ensures reliable results even on larger parts, such as plastic covers, molds or machine components.

Wide range - from miniatures to car bodies

Thanks to the combination of working distance and wide field of view, the MetroY Pro can digitize objects from 20 mm up to several meters in size. Using reference markers, you can easily scan entire automotive parts, sculptures or industrial castings with seamless alignment between individual scans.

Scanning speed up to 3,000,000 points/s

The scanner processes up to 3 million points per second, which significantly reduces the time needed to digitize complex objects. In practice, this means you can scan a complex casting or mechanical part in a matter of minutes instead of tens of minutes with slower scanners.

Color and texture capture

The MetroY Pro captures not only geometry but also realistic surface colors and textures. This is useful for archiving historical items, creating digital twins for VR/AR applications, or preparing models for color 3D printing. The output mesh includes a high-resolution texture map.

Revo Scan 5 software with AI algorithms

The included Revo Scan 5 software uses AI for automatic scan alignment, noise removal and mesh smoothing. The result can be exported in STL, OBJ, PLY or ASC formats and seamlessly loaded into CAD programs such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or slicers for subsequent 3D printing from PLA, PETG or technical materials such as ABS.

Working with challenging surfaces

The high-intensity blue laser allows scanning of surfaces that are problematic for conventional scanners - black plastics, dark rubber, slightly glossy aluminum or anodized surfaces. You no longer need to reach for matting spray every time, saving time in part preparation.

Portable and ready for immediate work

The compact handheld design with an ergonomic grip allows scanning outside the workshop - in the field, at the customer's site or directly on the production line. USB connection to a laptop and cable power supply mean the scanner is ready to use within minutes of unboxing.
