Prusa Nozzle brass 0.8 mm is an all-metal brass nozzle for the Nextruder, combining the nozzle and heatbreak into a single part. Thanks to the 0.8 mm diameter, you can speed up printing of thicker perimeters, significantly reduce print time on larger models, and achieve stronger prints with minimal layer steps.

All-metal construction without PTFE

The new generation of Original Prusa printers uses special nozzles with all-metal filament guidance. There is no PTFE tube anywhere along the filament path through the Nextruder, so problems with PTFE degradation at high temperatures and the risk of material jamming are eliminated. The result is higher overall reliability and a longer nozzle lifespan.

Nozzle and heatbreak in a single piece

Integrating the nozzle and heatbreak into one part means fewer joints, fewer potential filament leaks, and faster replacement. The thermal gradient is precisely defined by the manufacturer and you don't have to worry about tightening two separate components, as with classic V6 assemblies.

0.8 mm diameter for fast printing

The 0.8 mm nozzle is an ideal choice if you want to print faster and more robustly. It is suitable for large models, mechanical parts, vases, prototypes, and printing with thicker materials. With a higher layer height (typically 0.3-0.6 mm), you significantly shorten print time compared to the standard 0.4 mm nozzle.

Brass material for common filaments

Brass has excellent thermal conductivity, allowing the filament to melt quickly and evenly. The nozzle is ideal for non-abrasive materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, or nylon. For abrasive filaments with fillers, we recommend choosing the hardened or nitrided variant.

Fast replacement in the Nextruder

The Nextruder design allows nozzle replacement significantly faster than with older hotends. There is no need to dismount the entire head or struggle with hot tightening. You can find the installation procedure in the official Prusa Research assembly guides.

Compatibility with V6 adapter

If you have your favorite V6-compatible nozzles, Prusa offers a simple Nextruder to V6 adapter. You can thus combine original all-metal nozzles with other variants according to the needs of a specific project.

The nozzle is manufactured with high precision, which ensures even filament flow and a stable extrusion width. Without flow fluctuations, you get cleaner walls, better bonding between perimeters, and an overall higher-quality print surface, even when working with a large 0.8 mm nozzle.

Who is the nozzle intended for

The nozzle is compatible with Original Prusa MK4, MK4S, MK3.9, MK3.9S, XL, and CORE One/CORE One+ printers. It is not compatible with older MK3S/+, MK2.5S, MINI, and MMU series models, which use a different hotend.
