Dual-sided steel printing plate with grained PEI powder coating for printing pads with a size of 235x235 mm. E.g. for all versions of Ender-3 printers and many more.

The powder coating is applied directly to the metal, which makes this plate variant very resistant to damage. If a hot nozzle hits the surface, the metal can dissipate the heat. The powder texture also gives the surface a distinct grainy texture that will be visible on your prints.

The grained surface will hide most of the mechanical damage caused by the tools you use. Only the tops of small bumps on the surface may be scratched, which will then not be visible on the underside of the print.

This is the surface we use on our print farm.

Included:

    • Magnetic base for adhesion to the existing print pad.
    • A steel printing plate that magnetically attaches to the magnetic backing (which is included).

Dimensions: 235x235 mm

Tip! If the nozzle or your tools leave small scratches on the print surface, they will usually be shinier than the rest of the surface. However, they do not affect the functionality of the plate or its adhesion in any way. However, if you want to achieve the same surface appearance across the entire plate, you can restore the surface. The easiest way is to use the rough side of a kitchen sponge and gently sand the affected area in a circular motion.
