The Polybox Edition II is an improved version of the popular storage and drying box from Polymaker. It holds up to two standard filament spools with a diameter of up to 200 mm and allows them to be fed directly into the 3D printer through sealed output openings with PTFE bowden tubing. The integrated digital hygrometer and thermometer allow continuous monitoring of the conditions inside the box. Thanks to the rubber seal and robust construction, the box maintains low humidity even when closed, which is crucial for moisture-sensitive materials such as Nylon, PETG, TPU, ASA or polycarbonate.

The Polybox Edition II will be appreciated by all users who print with materials prone to absorbing airborne moisture. Filament that has absorbed water sputters during printing, creates bubbles, reduces the mechanical strength of the print and worsens the surface quality. The Polybox prevents this - the filament is stored in a dry environment and printed directly through the sealed output. Suitable for workshops, offices, schools and home use, especially during periods of higher air humidity.

Tips for use

• Before inserting the filament, check the condition of the silica gel - it should be dry (according to the color indicator).
• Silica gel can be repeatedly regenerated in the oven at approx. 120 °C for 2-3 hours.
• The target humidity inside the box should not exceed 15%.
• Route the filament through the PTFE tube directly into the printer's extruder to prevent renewed contact with air.
• Do not open the box unnecessarily often - each opening increases the humidity inside.
• For long-term storage of spools, close the output openings with blanking plugs.
• Suitable for sensitive materials Nylon, TPU, PETG, ASA, PC and composites with carbon fibers.
