Product variants
Majkl3D - Filaments ASA 1.75 mm 1 kg is a technical filament made from acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate, designed for outdoor applications and functional parts that require resistance to UV radiation and weathering.
Key features
The ASA material is often used as a replacement for ABS in applications where parts are exposed to sunlight and outdoor environments. It is characterized by high UV resistance, long-term color stability, mechanical strength and thermal resistance. The filament is supplied with a tight diameter tolerance, which ensures consistent material flow through the nozzle and stable print quality. The spool is 63 mm wide, making it fully compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS system.

Who is Majkl3D - Filaments ASA 1.75mm 1kg suitable for
The filament is intended for printing functional parts used outdoors - holders, covers, automotive components, garden equipment parts, antenna housings, drone components or electrical installation boxes. Thanks to its high UV resistance, printed products maintain their mechanical properties and appearance even after long-term exposure to sunlight. ASA is also suitable for prototyping technical parts that require higher thermal resistance than PLA or PET-G.
Tips for use
- Print in an enclosed chamber to prevent deformation and layer cracking caused by drafts.
- For better bed adhesion, use glue, ABS juice or a special adhesive product.
- Minimize part cooling fan use - higher airflow worsens interlayer adhesion.
- When printing on an open printer, reduce drafts and low ambient room temperature.
- Before printing, dry the filament in a filament dryer if it has been stored for a longer period - ASA is slightly hygroscopic.
- For improved interlayer strength, choose a higher nozzle temperature within the recommended range.
- When printing larger parts, consider using a brim or raft to prevent detachment from the bed.
