The Flashforge Adventurer 5M is a fast enclosed FDM 3D printer with a direct drive CoreXY extruder, print speeds up to 600 mm/s and acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². It offers a 220 x 220 x 220 mm build volume, a full-metal hotend with a swappable nozzle rated up to 280 °C and automatic bed calibration. Thanks to vibration compensation and three-sided part cooling, it delivers quality prints in PLA, PETG, ABS and engineering filaments without compromising between speed and detail.
High-speed CoreXY design

The Adventurer 5M is built on a rigid CoreXY kinematic system that moves the print head at speeds of up to 600 mm/s with an acceleration of 20,000 mm/s². In practice, this means that a common benchmark such as the 3DBenchy prints significantly faster than on classic Cartesian machines without any loss of dimensional accuracy. Linear rails on the X and Y axes ensure minimal play even after thousands of hours of operation.
Full-metal hotend up to 280 °C
The direct drive extruder with dual gears feeds filament into a full-metal hotend that reaches temperatures of up to 280 °C. It handles not only common materials such as PLA and PETG, but also more demanding ABS, ASA or nylon. The nozzle is designed as a swappable unit - available in 0.25 / 0.4 / 0.6 and 0.8 mm variants, with tool-free swaps taking just seconds. Compatible nozzles can be found directly in our category.
Automatic calibration without manual tweaking

At startup, the printer automatically measures the bed plane, calculates Z-offset compensation and sets optimal flow and vibration parameters. There is no need to worry about manual leveling or input shaper tuning - calibration takes only a few minutes and is stored in the machine's memory.
Removable PEI sheet and heated bed up to 110 °C

The flexible steel sheet with double-sided PEI coating holds prints firmly during printing, and after cooling you simply flex it - the part pops off on its own. Heating up to 110 °C opens the door to ABS, polycarbonate or carbon composites, where stable temperature is the foundation of a successful print.
Three-sided part cooling

An auxiliary fan complements the main radial fan at the nozzle and blows onto the part from the side of the chamber. The result is significantly better overhang quality, sharper details and reduced stringing during fast PLA printing. For materials where cooling is not desirable (ABS, ASA), the auxiliary fan can be disabled in the slicer profile.
Wi-Fi, LAN and USB connectivity

Control is handled by a 4.3" touchscreen with a clear interface. Models can be sent to the printer via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB flash drive. The Orca-Flashforge slicer (a fork of Orca Slicer) is free and offers preset profiles for all common materials.
Print monitoring with a built-in camera
An optional HD camera lets you monitor print progress directly from a mobile app or web interface. In addition to live preview, it also creates time-lapse videos - ideal for sharing projects or for quickly detecting print failures without having to be physically at the machine.
