Product variants
Filament "The Filament" TPU - 95A is a flexible thermoplastic polyurethane with Shore 95A hardness that combines elasticity, mechanical resistance and reliable printing properties. The material is designed for functional parts that must withstand mechanical stress, repeated deformation and long-term use.
Key features
TPU 95A belongs to flexible filaments with balanced stiffness - it is soft enough to absorb impacts and bending, yet strong enough for structural applications. It offers high abrasion resistance, good layer adhesion and excellent tensile strength. Thanks to precisely controlled diameter tolerance, feeding is consistent even during longer print jobs. The filament contains recycled components, which reduces the carbon footprint without compromising mechanical properties.

Who is Filament "The Filament" TPU - 95A suitable for
TPU 95A is designed for users who need functional parts with high flexibility and wear resistance. Typical uses include electronics covers and enclosures, seals, industrial components, damping elements, wheels, belts, wristband straps, handles, protective cases, rubber plugs or non-slip pads. The material also works well for prototypes of parts intended to use rubber or silicone in series production. Due to its flexibility, it is suitable for printers with a direct extruder (Direct Drive); Bowden systems require slower printing and fine-tuning of retraction.
Usage tips
- Always dry the filament before printing - TPU is highly hygroscopic and moisture causes bubbles and poor layer adhesion.
- Use the lowest possible retraction - high retraction leads to the flexible material jamming in the extruder.
- Print slowly and evenly, ideally 20 - 30 mm/s for clean details.
- For the first layer, use an adhesive spray or glue stick - TPU usually adheres well to PEI and glass beds.
- Set linear advance / pressure advance for cleaner corners and less stringing.
- Store the filament in a dry environment with desiccant, ideally in a sealed container.
- To compare with other flexible and technical materials, visit the categories TPU, PETG or Nylon.
