Spectrum PLA Special THERMOACTIVE filament is a unique thermochromic PLA-based material that reversibly changes its shade according to the surface temperature of the printed object. The change occurs at approximately 30 °C, and after cooling, the original appearance gradually returns.

Key features

This filament is made from pure PLA enriched with a thermochromic pigment, thanks to which prints react to temperature changes with a visible transformation in appearance. The material retains all the advantages of classic PLA - easy printing, minimal shrinkage, excellent interlayer adhesion and high aesthetic surface quality. After cooling below the threshold temperature, the object returns to its original state without loss of properties. The filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber and wound on a transparent spool with material information.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the material to temperatures above 60 °C, as it may affect the thermochromic properties.
• Store in a dry place, in the original packaging with a moisture absorber.
