The transition effect is most pronounced on models with rounded surfaces and more complex details. Usage tips
- For maximum effect, use lower layers (0.12 - 0.16 mm).
- Avoid excessively high nozzle temperatures - silk PLA is more sensitive to stringing and oozing.
- Activate full model cooling for sharp details and a smooth glossy surface.
- Store the filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealed box with desiccant.
- For long-term storage in normal conditions, we recommend a short drying session before printing.
- For the most pronounced visual effect, choose models with large smooth surfaces or vase mode.
- A hardened nozzle is not necessary - silk PLA does not contain abrasive fillers.
