Filament Spectrum PET CF15

Very durable and rigid

Spectrum PET CF15 is a black-colored polyethylene terephthalate (PET) based material, dyed in mass. It is the simplest carbon fiber material on the market designed for 3D printing, which has much better thermal and mechanical properties than PET-G based materials. The filament does not exhibit any retraction problems and does not require a heated chamber during printing. A characteristic feature of the filament is the excellent surface finish immediately after removing the model from the printer, reducing the need for post-processing.

Spectrum PET CF15 is compatible with auxiliary materials such as HIPS-X. The filament allows printing very strong and rigid elements. It is characterized by low impact of moisture and temperature on dimensions.

Very attractive technical properties of the Spectrum PET CF15 filament are achievable while maintaining the basic principles of storing this type of materials (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%). To achieve the best parameters of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.

Tip: Due to the significant content of carbon fibers, it is recommended to use nozzles with a diameter larger than the standard 0.4 mm. In addition, the presence of carbon fibers may lead to the degradation of standard brass nozzles, so when using Spectrum PET CF15 for a longer period, it is recommended to use hardened steel or ruby nozzles.
