product-variants
Spectrum LW-ASA UltraFoam 1.75mm is a professional lightweight ASA filament utilizing active foaming technology that significantly reduces the weight of printed parts—up to three times lighter compared to standard ASA. Based on the trusted Spectrum ASA 275 formulation, it incorporates additives that enable controlled expansion during printing.
Foaming activates around 230 °C, reaching maximum performance at 270–285 °C. Below 230 °C, the material behaves like standard ASA, offering excellent flexibility in print tuning. When fully expanded, the filament reaches an extremely low density of about 0.33 g/cm³, allowing material flow to be reduced by up to 66%.
