Spectrum PLA Magic SILK is an innovative dual-color filament produced using coextrusion technology, combining two shades in a single strand to create dynamic color transitions with a silky sheen.
Key features
Magic SILK PLA uses advanced coextrusion technology, thanks to which two colors are combined in a single filament. The resulting print gains depth, changes shade depending on the viewing angle and lighting, and offers a smooth, glossy silk surface. The filament is based on the proven PLA material, so it prints easily, is odorless, and is compatible with most FDM/FFF 3D printers. The 5PACK contains 5 spools of 0.25 kg, which is ideal for smaller projects or for combining several shades in a single print.

Printing tips
- Use a higher infill (15-25 %) for larger parts; the SILK surface effect will be more uniform.
- For maximum silky gloss, print at lower speeds (40-50 mm/s) with full cooling.
- Store the filament in a dry place; if humidity increases, dry it in a dryer at 45 °C for 4-6 hours.
- Avoid retractions longer than 2 mm, as they may disrupt the smoothness of the coextrusion.
- Before longer prints, we recommend calibrating flow and linear advance (Linear Advance / Pressure Advance).
- The 5PACK is ideal for combining multiple shades in one project or for smaller prints without unnecessarily storing large spools.
