PolyMaker PolyFlex TPU 95A HF is a high-speed flexible filament based on thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 95 Shore A. It combines elasticity, abrasion resistance and the ability to print at higher speeds, making it suitable for functional parts that must withstand repeated stress, bending and impacts.

TPU 95A filament belongs to the family of flexible materials that retain their shape while still allowing bending and compression without permanent deformation. The HF (High Flow / High Speed) version from PolyMaker is specially formulated for faster printing, so parts that previously required extremely low speeds can now be produced with standard parameters. The material offers high wear resistance, good impact toughness, resistance to oils and lubricants and favorable interlayer adhesion. The 1.75 mm filament diameter and 1 kg spool weight (length approx. 358 m) are standard and compatible with most FDM/FFF printers.

This filament is intended for users who need functional flexible parts and want to shorten print times compared with classic TPU. It is ideal for producing seals, damping parts, rubber feet, covers, protectors, straps, handles, grips, electronics enclosures, footwear components, drone parts, prototypes and replacement rubber components. Thanks to faster printing, it is also suitable for small-series production of flexible parts.

Printing tips

• For best results, use a direct drive extruder. Bowden setups are usable, but speed and retraction must be reduced.
• Dry the filament before printing - TPU is hygroscopic and moisture causes bubbles and poor surface quality.
• Keep retraction as low as possible (2-4 mm on direct drive) to prevent clogging and under-extrusion.
• Bed adhesion can be ensured with a PEI sheet, glass with glue stick or painter's tape - the bed does not need to be heated to high temperatures.
• Set part cooling to 50-100 % for cleaner details and better overhangs.
• At higher speeds, check that the feeder is not slipping - flexible filaments require correctly set idler pressure.
• Store in a sealed bag with silica gel, ideally in a dry box.
