Product Description
Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is a technical filament based on Nylon 6 (PA6), reinforced with carbon fibers to significantly enhance its mechanical properties. It combines high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance with excellent layer adhesion, making it ideal for functional and mechanically stressed parts.
Compared to standard PA6, PA6-CF20 offers improved dimensional stability, greater resistance to deformation, and longer service life in demanding environments. This material is well-suited for producing mechanical components, structural parts, brackets, fixtures, and components exposed to heat and mechanical loads.
Proper printing requires the use of an all-metal hotend capable of reaching at least 280 °C and a hardened nozzledue to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers. The filament is moisture-sensitive – drying before printing, followed by annealing and moisture conditioning, significantly improves final performance and durability.
