At the heart of the printer is a 14.3-inch monochromatic LCD panel with a resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels and XY accuracy of approximately 38 μm. This delivers an incredible level of detail even on large models - fine textures, sharp edges and clean surfaces without the need for additional sanding.

Tilt-release mechanism for faster and more reliable printing

Instead of the traditional vertical separation, the Jupiter 2 uses a tilting (tilt) vat mechanism. It significantly reduces peel forces, protects the FEP film as well as fragile model details, and enables shorter exposure times. The result is more stable printing of large surfaces without the risk of detachment from the build plate.

Durable metal construction and dual linear rails

An extruded aluminum frame, dual Z-axis guides on a ball screw and a heavy-duty print platform provide the mechanical rigidity required for repeatably accurate prints. Even on tall models there are no visible layer boundaries caused by vibrations.

Wi-Fi, remote management and easy operation

You control the printer via a capacitive touchscreen or wirelessly over Wi-Fi. The ChiTuBox slicer is part of the ecosystem and allows you to send jobs to the queue and monitor print progress remotely. Automatic detection of a torn FEP film and resin level monitoring reduce the risk of long print failures.

Compatibility with standard 405 nm resins

The Jupiter 2 works with standard 405 nm photopolymers from Elegoo as well as third parties. You can combine regular Standard resins, Water Washable resins for easy post-processing, and tougher engineering-grade materials. Filament materials such as PLA, PETG or ABS are intended for FDM printers - the Jupiter 2 is a purely resin-based LCD/MSLA platform.
