E3DV6 all-metal hotend for 1.75 mm filament and 12 V power supply. The direct version without a PTFE liner inside the heatbreak enables printing high-temperature materials up to 300 °C without any risk of PTFE degradation. An ideal upgrade for printers with both Bowden and Direct Drive extruders, compatible with the vast majority of E3D V6 nozzles.

All-Metal construction

The key difference compared to the standard V6 is the absence of the PTFE liner inside the heatbreak. Thanks to this, the hotend is not afraid of high temperatures and easily handles printing of technical materials that would otherwise cause PTFE to degrade and release harmful fumes. The fully metal filament path ensures long service life and a stable melting zone.

Direct version for 1.75 mm filament

The hotend is designed for the most common 1.75 mm filament diameter. The direct version means the filament enters the heatbreak directly from the top without the need to screw a PTFE Bowden tube into the hotend body. This will be appreciated by users converting their printer to a Direct Drive extruder as well as those who prefer the classic Bowden configuration with the PTFE tube routed only to the upper opening.

High-temperature printing up to 300 °C

Thanks to the all-metal construction, you can print materials that a standard hotend with PTFE cannot handle. It easily manages ASA, nylon, polycarbonate and composites with carbon fiber. Of course, it also handles common PLA, PETG or ABS.

12 V heater cartridge and thermistor

The assembly includes a 40W heater cartridge rated at 12 V and a 100K NTC thermistor. The 12 V power supply is suitable for both older and current 32-bit control boards operating at this voltage level. Before installation, check the supply voltage of your electronics - for 24V systems you will need the corresponding variant.

Efficient heatbreak cooling

The aluminum finned heatsink combined with an active cooling fan ensures a sharp thermal transition between the hot and cold zones. This significantly reduces the risk of heat creep (filament melting above the melting zone) and nozzle clogging, which is a critical parameter for all-metal hotends.

Compatibility with E3D V6 nozzles

The hotend uses the standard M6 thread for V6 nozzles, so you can choose from a vast range of sizes and materials - from brass through hardened steel to nozzles with an inserted ruby. You can find the complete offer in the nozzles category. Changing the nozzle while hot takes just a few dozen seconds.

Universal upgrade for RepRap printers

The assembly fits the vast majority of FDM printers built on the RepRap philosophy - Prusa i3, Ender 3, Anet, Tronxy, CR-10 and similar machines. Standardized mounting dimensions allow deployment into most groove-mount and clip holders. Ideal as a replacement for a worn hotend or as a first step towards printing technical materials.

Stable melting and precise extrusion

The short melting zone and well-dissipated heat ensure consistent filament melting even at higher print speeds. The result is cleaner retraction, minimal stringing and better vertical wall quality, especially with technical materials.
