Product description: Dimafix Print Adhesive – 400 ml Spray

Preparation that improves the adhesion of 3D prints to a glass print bed. Designed for FFF / FDM printers. Dimafix greatly facilitates work with almost all thermoplastic materials. Its use is especially recommended for filaments with high shrinkage, which are prone to unwanted deformation. The effectiveness of Dimafix depends on the temperature of the surface to which it is applied. Its adhesive properties activate after exceeding 50 °C and disappear when the temperature drops to the range of 40–50 °C. The product comes in a 400 ml spray can with a ball that prevents nozzle clogging and ensures even application on the hot print bed surface. One package is sufficient for approximately 100 applications.

Four zones of Dimafix action

Dimafix prevents unwanted detachment of the model from the print bed, even for the most challenging filaments such as ABS, PVA, Filaflex, Polypropylene, or HIPS. Adhesive properties vary depending on temperature:

• Zone IV – 95 °C to 120 °C: Maximum adhesion for printed parts of any size and shape. This range improves the print quality of sharp edges and peaks of the 3D model.

• Zone III – 75 °C to 95 °C: High adhesion. Models can have any shape and a maximum size of 200 × 200 mm. Good print quality without warping even with active cooling.

• Zone II – 65 °C to 75 °C: Medium adhesion suitable for flat objects without sharp edges.

• Zone I – below 65 °C: Ensures easy removal of the print from the bed. Once cooled, the print should detach on its own.

Instructions for use

1. Shake the can thoroughly before use.

2. Apply the product from approximately 30 cm above the print bed. It is recommended to perform this operation in a well-ventilated area.

3. The print bed surface where Dimafix is applied should be around 50 °C.

4. Residues on the surface can be removed with clean water.
