The Creality SpacePi X4L Filament Dryer is an active filament dryer with a large capacity for simultaneously drying up to four spools. It removes absorbed moisture that causes nozzle popping, bubbles in walls, and poor layer adhesion.

Key features

The device combines heating, air circulation, and moisture removal in a sealed chamber. During printing, filament can be dried and printed directly from the chamber, which is essential for hygroscopic materials such as PETG, Nylon, TPU, ASA, or PC. The chamber holds up to 4 standard spools or 2 large spools up to 2 kg. A digital panel allows you to set the temperature and drying time, and the integrated humidity sensor continuously monitors conditions inside the chamber. Grommets for PTFE tubing allow the filament to be fed directly into the printer.

The dryer is designed for users who print with materials sensitive to airborne moisture, operate multiple printers simultaneously, or store filament for extended periods. It is suitable for small workshops, advanced hobby users, as well as schools and design studios. It enables reactivation of already damp spools and simultaneously serves as dry storage during printing. It contributes to better surface quality, more stable extrusion, and fewer failed prints from technical polymers.

Usage tips

• Before printing with Nylon or PC, dry for at least 8-12 hours at 70 °C.
• PETG and TPU only need 4-6 hours of drying at 55-60 °C.
• Dry PLA at 45-50 °C for a maximum of 6 hours to prevent spool deformation.
• During printing, leave the filament in the chamber and feed it through PTFE tubing directly into the extruder.
• After drying is complete, store the spool in a vacuum bag with silica gel if you are not going to use it immediately.
• Regularly check the condition of the humidity sensor and the cleanliness of the interior.
