Creality CR-PLA is a high-quality PLA filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm on a 1 kg spool, featuring easy printing, stable extrusion and precise diameter tolerance. The material is made from biodegradable polylactic acid and is suitable for a wide range of 3D printing applications, from hobby projects to functional prototypes.
Key features
PLA is one of the easiest materials to print on FDM/FFF 3D printers. Creality CR-PLA offers minimal shrinkage, good interlayer adhesion and virtually odourless printing. The material is suitable even for printing without an enclosed chamber and with minimal printer calibration requirements. The filament is wound on a cardboard spool, reducing the amount of plastic waste. Thanks to its higher flexural strength (78 MPa), the filament can handle prints with higher demands on print rigidity, although it is still mechanically more sensitive than technical materials such as PETG or ABS.

Who is Creality CR-PLA Filament 1.75 mm 1 kg suitable for
The filament is designed for both beginners and advanced 3D printing users. It is used for printing decorative items, figurines, models, prototypes, school projects and small functional parts that are not exposed to high temperatures or direct UV radiation. Thanks to its low melting temperature and minimal odour, it is also suitable for use in home environments and classrooms. If you need higher temperature resistance or mechanical strength, consider ASA, Nylon or polycarbonate.
Printing tips
- Before printing, calibrate the first layer and verify the Z offset for perfect adhesion.
- Use the full cooling fan (100 %) for sharp details and overhangs.
- Store the filament in a dry place, ideally in a sealed package with silica gel.
- If the filament has been exposed to air for a longer period, dry it before printing at 40-45 °C for 4-6 hours.
- For better adhesion to the bed, use a glue stick, hair spray or a PEI sheet.
- Recommended nozzle: brass 0.4 mm for regular printing, hardened for long service life.
- Do not store at temperatures above 50 °C - PLA is sensitive to heat and may soften.
- When printing at higher speeds (above 60 mm/s), increase the nozzle temperature closer to the upper limit of the recommended range.
